Radio. Functions same as type="radio" in the <input> tag of HTML. Single selection is supported. When rendered on the browser, <div> tag instead of <input> tag will be at the highest level and a combination of the tags will be used under the <div> tag. A separate setting is required in order to use the <radio> tag.

Property Detail

appearance
Selection item display method (Options) "minimal" : Displays selection items one by one. The end user can change the selection item using arrow keys. "full" (Default) : Displays “ - All - ”.
class
Same as the class property in HTML. The class defined in the CSS file or style block can be applied. Multiple classes can be defined with being divided by blank space.
WebSquare5 Engine applies different classes to different components. By defining a common class, the common class can be applied to multiple components.
cols
Number of the columns to display selection items For example, "2" is to display selection items on two columns.
disabled
Disable the component. [default:false, true] (Options) "false" (Default) : Not to disable the component. "true": Disables the component.
displaymessage
Displays the result message upon a validation failure by validate(); API. [default: false, true]
Displays an internally defined message. In case the invalidMessage is defined, the defined text will be displayed. (Options) "false" (Default) : Not to display the result message. "true": Displays the result message. (Related API) validate(); (Function) invalidMessage (Property)
escape

renderType
Layout structure to be rendered on the browser. [default:table, native, radiogroup] (Options) "table" (Default) : Does not use the &lt;input> tag. Instead the &lt;div> tag at the highest level wraps table tags as well as other sub-level tags. "native" : Generates only &lt;input type="radio">. &lt;label> tag must be created, and the title property is required for web accessibility. "radiogroup" : Allows the developer to decide the tag. The default is div tag. Set the highest-level tag and other tags using tagname and itemTagname properties.
rows
Number of the columns to display selection items For example, "2" is to display selection items on two rows.
selectedIndex
The index of the item to be initially selected. Valid only when the source is hard-coded or the data is pre-defined in the DataList.
Applied upon initial loading only. When items are dynamically generated by API after loading or data is dynamically allocated to the DataList, this property will not function.

tagname

tooltip
Text to be displayed upon the end user’s hovering the mouse over the component. Provided by WebSquare, and specifies additional information of the component.

Text key of the tooltip in case the tooltip text is provided in multiple languages.
When there is no text for the key, "global_undefined" will be displayed on the screen.

visibleColumn
Hides certain items from the selection item list.
Shows the display status when the selection item list is bound with the DataList.
In case the column value is same as the visibleColumnFalseValue value, the corresponding row will not be displayed on the selection item list.
selectedIndex is not affected. In other words, the entire index, not the displayed index, is used.
The property can be set by the setVisibleColumn API. (Example) The Radio is bound with the dataList1. visibleColumn="col3" visibleColumnFalseValue="false" settings are used. Do the following: dataList1.getCellData(row, "col3"); In case “false” is returned, the corresponding row will not be displayed on the selection item list. For scope="true" WFrame, component IDs inside the WFrame is changed with the prefix(wframeID + "_") being added before the ID given by the user (originalID).
